Drug Court

The Cleveland County Drug Court was initiated by District Attorney Tim Kuykendall and officially began on April 27, 2000. The Drug Court program couples the power of the court system with the benefits of substance abuse treatment. Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center offers comprehensive outpatient substance abuse and/or co-occurring services to adults and their families referred by the Cleveland County Drug Court.

The clinicians in Drug Court Services are committed to serving participants by providing services that are driven by the needs and preferences of the Cleveland County Court, person served, and family members, empowering each to reach their goals. Drug Court, as well as other programs of COCMHC, serve pregnant women and COCMHC's Drug Court providers give admission preference to women who are pregnant. The Court Team consists of Judges, Attorneys, Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals, Psychiatrists, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors, Case Managers, and Law Enforcement personnel.

Licensed staff at COCMHC works in partnership with the Cleveland County Court as a team to meet the needs of the person served and their family.
